NCTS (New Community Transit System)

NCTS, or New Community Transit System, is an online system for electronic declaration and processing for traders using Community Transit. Community Transit allows goods that are not in free circulation to move within the European Community (EC). The payment of any customs duty or other charges is suspended whilst under the procedure.

All importers who operate Community Transit movements are either Authorised Consignors or Consignees and are legally required to use New Community Transit System or NCTS. It allows for the transportation of non-EU goods or those covered by specific duty reliefs, between or through EU Member States without payment of duty or import VAT.

By using New Community Transit System (NCTS) software, you can be confident that you meet your obligations, and that the software will continue to develop and keep pace with any future Customs developments. It can be provided as a standalone solution, or as part of our integrated duty management and reporting system.
