Grosvenor User Association - The GUA

Maintaining a positive, mutually beneficial relationship with our clients is paramount to our service philosophy.  As such, when you select our duty management solution, you automatically become a member of the Grosvenor User Association - the GUA.

The GUA was established 25 years ago to provide our clients with a genuine opportunity to influence product development and innovation within our range of Customs solutions.  It is a unique forum that encourages clients to share their views and experiences of not only our products, but also of the wider Customs related issues that affect their business.   Given the diversity in terms of type of industry that our customers represent, including the motor industry, aircraft industry, pharmaceutical companies, textiles, white goods, retail, hi-tech, heavy engineering, perishable foods, and logistics, their views and experiences all contribute to the development of the range of products and services we offer.

All clients are invited to attend a full meeting of the GUA at least once a year, chaired by one of the members of the GUA.  These full meetings are supplemented throughout the year by more specific workshops or seminars, targetted perhaps at either a particular industry group or those who operate a specific Customs procedure.  All meetings have benefited from input from HM Customs, as keynote speakers, and/or delegates.

Furthermore, all GUA members receive regular information bulletins on Customs issues that may affect them, keeping them up to date on any key developments within the Customs arena.

Our most recent meeting was held in March 2010 to explore the issues surrounding Re-Authorisation for CFSP/NES/SASP simplified procedures.  We were delighted to be joined by David Exton from HMRC.  You can find a summary of key points raised on our Latest News page.
